Peak ist ein im Jahr 1998 begonnener Film über asiatische Megastädte, etwa in China, Taiwan, Japan und Indien.

Peak entsteht bei ziellosen Wanderungen durch diese Städte.

Peak beobachtet die Inszenierung der neuen Metropolen und ihren Wettbewerb um internationale Aufmerksamkeit.

Peak sammelt Bilder zur alltäglichen Aneignung der Metropole und betreibt so eine Kartografierung des Sozialen.

Peak stellt einen Raum mit zeitlichen, akustischen und visuellen Mustern her und folgt dem Bild des Archipels, das aus vielen miteinander verbundenen Inseln besteht.
